SAIS welcomes auskickers FOR THE START OF Lightning Rounds 2017

Due to the AIS Shark Park oval resurfacing, the Lightning Rounds will still begin as planned on Saturday 12th August at SAIS oval.

Singapore, July 26, 2017– The Singapore Sharks committee have secured Stamford American International Schools (SAIS) oval to host the start of this years Lightning Rounds. The resurfacing project currently underway at AIS Sharks Park has been delayed and the new state of the art playing field is due to be completed by Term 4. The first three rounds of competition will be played at SAIS starting on Saturday 12th August and the remaining three rounds will be planned for AIS Shark Park early in Term 4.

Coach Scott Murphy stated “The start date for our competition just couldn’t be delayed, our coaches and footballers are ready to show their skills and we need to get the competition underway as planned. SAIS is a great space and I know the kids will enjoy the playing conditions. I would like to thank SAIS for welcoming our Sharks players”.

Please note that we are still subject to AIS Shark Park resurfacing project finishing date and if there are any further delays, the Sharks Committee will reassess and keep you updated.
